Hours of repeated practice will culminate on Saturday in one of the most impressive military spectacles in generations as 7,000 ceremonial troops take part in the Coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla. It will all depend on precision, discipline and not a little of what the military call “ceremonial drill magic”.
